Neely read this book for about twenty minutes. She was reading about squirrels and they (the squirrels) would even sing songs intermittently. It was amazing.

This week was an actual challenge. I realized a couple things. One, she never sits still and two, things look much more clear through my lens than they do in Photoshop. Weird. This was taken with a Tamron lens, I don't know if anything is wrong with it because it's not mine. I have a Canon lens too but it's fixed so the Tamron is much more convenient.
I'm thankful for this weekly photography challenge because it will force me to learn my camera more.

  1. Oh I love this picture, she looks so content just reading her book! Chloe is constantly moving too so I completely understand how hard it can be to capture a portrait of them!

    1. Thank you! I think it was literally the first time all day (awake) that she was still!

  2. I love it! Lucas loves us reading to him so I'm sure as he gets older he'll get into reading to himself too.

It's the best when they start reading out loud and making up stories. Imaginations are wonderful!
